The North Florida Broadband Authority ("NFBA") announces a community information meeting of the NFBA that all interested persons are invited to attend. The NFBA is a legal entity and public body created pursuant to the provisions of Section 163.01, Florida Statutes, and an Interlocal Agreement among Baker, Bradford, Columbia, Dixie, Gilchrist, Hamilton, Jefferson, Lafayette, Levy, Madison, Putnam, Suwannee, Taylor, Union and Wakulla Counties and municipalities of Cedar Key, Cross City, Lake City, Live Oak, Monticello, Perry, White Springs and Worthington Springs, Florida.  The NFBA’s Community Information meeting will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 10, 2010; at the Cedar Key Public Library – 2nd Floor Meeting Room, 460 Second Street, Cedar Key, Florida 32625 . The NFBA’s Community Information meeting will be for educational purposes only and no official business will be conducted. The NFBA is a legal entity and public body created pursuant to the provisions of Section 163.01, Florida Statutes, and an Interlocal Agreement among Baker, Bradford, Columbia, Dixie, Gilchrist, Hamilton, Jefferson, Lafayette, Levy, Madison, Putnam, Suwannee, Taylor, Union and Wakulla Counties and municipalities of Cedar Key, Cross City, Lake City, Live Oak, Monticello, Perry, White Springs and Worthington Springs, Florida.  The NFBA’s Operations Committee meeting will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 9, 2010; at The Library Partnership - Large Meeting Room, 1130 NE 16th Avenue, Gainesville, Florida 32601.
The NFBA’s Operational Committee meeting will be to conduct general business of the committee. If a person decides to appeal any decision made by the NFBA with respect to any matter considered at the meeting, such person will need a record of the proceedings and may need to ensure that a verbatim record is made, including the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be made.
